Grade 7 starts deeper work with integers, fractions, decimals, percents and equations. Science covers matter, energy, weather and climate. Social studies explores worldview and culture, human rights, global citizenship and historically diverse regions of the world.

What to look for on the report card

Look for comments on independence, study habits and confidence with the harder math and reading ahead. A Grade 7 mathematics assessment is listed for 2026-2027.
