Yukon Curriculum learning standard: Likelihood of familiar life events

How we explain it

Children can open this short lesson before they practise.

  1. Likely means it will probably happen.
  2. Unlikely means it probably won't happen.
  3. Think about what usually happens.

Example: Is it likely that the sun comes up tomorrow? The sun comes up every day. So it will probably happen. Answer: Likely
