Grade 3 · Social Studies · Unit 8 of 12
Living On & With the Land
How the land supports communities, and how we can care for it.
What your child practises
Practises how people live on and with the land in different places, valuing what the land provides, appreciating the variety of natural environments, and making choices that care for the environment. Many First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities see living with the land as sacred; this unit stays general and respectful.
