How we explain it

Children can open this short lesson before they practise.

  1. A circle is round with no corners.
  2. A triangle has 3 sides.
  3. A square and a rectangle each have 4 sides.

Example: Which shape has 3 sides? Count the sides on each shape. The triangle has 3. Answer: The triangle
